Manuscript submission deadline is October 1, 2024, 10:00 pm US Central Time.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

  1. US/Canadian residents, fellows in training, and recent graduates within 3 years of completion of training (2021 or later) are invited to submit and must be listed as the first/presenting author.

  2. Manuscripts must be blinded and be in a publishable format according to the Journal of Arthroplasty manuscript guidelines.
    Do not submit your manuscript through the JOA submission portal. Submit above.

  3. Manuscript should be limited to 3000 words (word count includes the abstract, which is limited to 250 words; but it does not include the references). No more than 10 figures or tables are allowed.

  4. When submitting, please indicate one category: Hip or Knee.   A manuscript may be submitted in one category only.

  5.  One submission per presenting author, please. Multiple submissions will not be permitted.

  6. Publication in the JOA Proceedings of The Hip Society or The Knee Society is not guaranteed. Manuscripts will be subject to the JOA standard editorial review process.

  7. Summary of the award-winning papers will be presented from the podium by C. Anderson Engh, MD at CCJR® 2024 (December 11-14 2024, Orlando, FL).

  8. First/presenting authors will receive a check and a certificate at CCJR® 2024 meeting; therefore, they must be present.
